Weekly Update March 31, 2023

March 31, 2023

Welcome to this week’s Update at Lamgo Farms! I’m happy you’ve found your way here to see just what is happening on the farm, with our family and of course, our furry friends.

We are in full Spring bloom here on the farm. The leaves are budding, flowers blooming, the grass is green and growing just enough to keep ahead of the sheep grazing and of course, new life is on the horizon.

The “farm mama kitty” delivered her kittens yesterday and a new bird’s nest was discovered earlier in the week. I’m always so in awe of nature and God’s creation.

Right now we are preparing for puppy picking today! This is always an exciting time on the farm when we invite our puppy owners out to choose their puppies. My next favorite day is puppy pick up. Right now we have a few puppies available in litters going home in April. These will most likely be males. Which is still a wonderful choice.

Since I am behind in this week’s update- I’ll be posting new pictures and video to the update on Monday. Boston’s litter is already updated.

After that our upcoming season is mostly full already. We are almost back to pre-covid where our lists fill up a year or two in advance for certain litters. I’m trying to keep a few surprise litters held back to offer something for those wanting a puppy right away.

The advantage to waiting on a list gives you the opportunity to get completely prepared, learn how we do things with our scheduling, training, etc.

This year we have added Lamb pick ups to the schedule! Right now we have five little lambs at Lamgo Farms. It has been truly a joy and the experience of a lifetime. We have one more to go before the BIG herd begins in a few weeks.

Right now we are down to a wait list only for our Babydoll and Harlequin Ewes. We do have reservations available for Harlequin wethers.

So if I do not get back to answering your questions right away- you know what we’re up to that is taking up our time. As always, thank you for your patience. Feel free to reach out to me via text anytime. 817-366-7995. Talking on the phone right now is a little impossible but I can arrange an appointment to chat.

One more thing. . .don’t forget to place your Farm Fresh Chicken Egg order when you come to the farm for your visit or puppy pick up. The ladies are laying at least 2 dozen a day. They are awesome! You can order through our store or just do a Venmo. They are $4 a dozen. This is a pick up in person only.

Moving on now- let’s scroll on down to see just what is going on in each of your litters this week. . .
