October 13, 2021
Hello there! Welcome back to another Update at the farm. I’m so glad you’ve found your way here to see just what is happening with our family, farm and our furry friends.
I skipped over last week’s update but hopefully everyone who is on a list right now has settled into their lists allowing us to see if we have any puppies available in our current litters.
If you are interested in one of our puppies, just scroll down a little to the next section for further instructions.
We are planning a little break for the Holidays but we are sneaking in our Ruby Golden Sheepie Doodles and a brand new mini litter that will go home around the second week of January. I’ll go over that litter more in next week’s update. So for those wanting a Christmas puppy- Those two mini litters may be your chance.
I’ve always found that a picture of your puppy plus puppy supplies makes a great gift under the tree. Then you can extend that holiday season a bit when you bring home your puppy in January.
We have a lot that will be happening on a personal level in December so I am excited to be super busy now with our big season and then enter a period of calm and quiet for a while.
Today was a perfect weather day on the farm making Fall feel a little more real here in Texas. We had a super fast storm the other night and as I write this, we are getting ready for another possible cluster of rain clouds.
The rains the other day reminded me to talk a little about doodles and wet weather.
For puppies. . .remember that especially before they are fully vaccinated, running rain water can bring illness into an innocent yard so I just want to mention a few points of precaution and suggestions to get through inclement weather with your doods.
Anytime you have a saturated lawn, your puppy can come in contact with water born germs and parasites.
For super young puppies not yet fully vaccinated, I recommend making use of the potty pads or a potty patch in either their playpen, a patio, garage or a set apart room like a laundry area or bathroom.
For our puppies, continuing to use the bells, and placing puppy on the potty pad in their “area” (not pads all over the house) is still training them. You may have a little pause in potty training progress, but you will still be successful.
For those with puppies fully vaccinated but still young, keep in mind that water born parasites such as Giardia can still cause serious illness.
I’ve noticed that whenever we get a massive amount of rain, we always have a few dogs with digestive woes the next day.
So what can you do?
In and Out:For the older fully vaccinated puppy- you can lower your dood’s chance of infection by letting them out to potty/poop only and then bring them back in. Even if it isn’t actively raining, any puddles are a potential risk factor, so in and out and back in again.
Wipe em Down: Invest in disinfectant wipes such as Clorox wipes. Wipe those paws before coming back in. It is when they lay down and start to lick those paws and legs that they contract illness.
Walk it Out: Your Dood will still need some exercise or due to simple boredom you may just need to get out after a big storm. Try going for a walk using a leash. Your doodle will be less likely to eat something or drink from a puddle if you’re holding them on a leash. Still wipe those paws coming back inside.
Be Prepared: With or without rain related illness, because puppies like to chew on everything and anything especially twigs and grass- you will most likely encounter bouts of loose stools or even diarrhea. Keep a few cans of pumpkin on hand to help settle those upset tummies. Canned items last a long time, so this is a good one to simply have on hand.
I have also found that plain yogurt does wonders for tummy trouble as well. Just a spoonful on top of their food twice a day for about 3 or 4 days should do the trick.
Know your Stools: Yep, I’m going THERE. For those who have a Lamgo Farms puppy, you’ve most likely read my little bit on the consistency of puppy poop.
I talk in terms of food best, so I’m going to give you some examples of troubled stools in food terms. Puppies can have loose stools for a number of reasons. A change in environment, food, additional stress, chewing on non food items or contracting illness can cause stool changes.
Our desired stool is like a tootsie roll. A change in food or environment can bring on the soft serve. Chewing on twigs or grass can cause a pudding type of consistency. In that case, try the pumpkin for a few meals and see if you have any improvement.
Last, watery stools with or without blood. Any kind of stool with the consistency of water is an emergency. Call your vet or go to an emergency vet right away.
Brush those curls: One last suggestion. If you know it’s going to rain in the morning, remember to brush your doodle before going to bed. That way, if they do run outside in the rain to potty, you can avoid any mats or tangles from setting in like concrete. Remember to pat any wet coats with a towel and then if your dood is really saturated, go for the dryer. If you groom on your own, have a pool or find that you are always needing to dry your dood, here is a professional grade dryer I recommend.
Ok, I hope that wasn’t too much ready for this week. Without any further delay, let’s scroll on down to see what is happening in each of your litters! Don’t forget to let me know if you find any mistakes on our lists!!!

What’s Happening Now?
Can you believe that we are already over half way to puppies going home? Where has the time gone with this litter? I am so in love with these babies. They are absolutely gorgeous and they know it. This litter has had so much handling by our entire family that they are a tad spoiled.
It brightens my day to walk into the nursery and see them running up to us. We’re gonna miss them greatly.
Right now they are continuing to eat their gruel plus they are starting the transition to hard kibble. Those little teeth are almost all in and they are loving their new food.
Temperament testing is today (Wednesday)! The results will be emailed out by Thursday so you get a chance to go over them before choosing your puppies on Saturday.
I will also upload one more video tonight onto our YouTube channel.
What Happens Next?
Week 6 Reading material, puppy pick up instructions, invoices for balances due will be emailed. Official weaning time!
Week 7 More crate training. Mama leaves the nursery.
Week 8- puppies go home!

Bella/Paddington
F2b English Creme Mini/Medium Goldendoodles

What’s Happening Now?
Is this not the most amazing litter ever? Looking back at Bella’s previous litters, it’s like she just has the same duplicate litter over and over. Just Copy/Paste. I love these blocky little english heads and these amazing temperaments that are already shining through. I can’t wait for you all to get to choose your puppies!
Right now they are still sleeping quite a bit and nursing. They are now walking instead of crawling around.
We place a potty pad just off of their bedding. So they make their way to the pad and then back to bed since they don’t like to sleep where they eliminate.
This is the beginning of the potty training process. They are eating their gruel twice a day now. Gruel is our own puppy mush, their first food. It’s a combination of our premium puppy food, milk replacer (puppy milk formula), nutritional supplement and warm water all blended together to an oatmeal consistency. Oh do they love it!
This next week everyone will receive another preventative deworming.

Poppins/Banks
F1 Moyen Sheepadoodles
Poppins delivered 3 girls and 6 boys on September 30. All babies are doing well!

Lamgo Farms is keeping the first pick of this litter and should be able to decide our choice this week. It will be either light pink girl or purple girl.
We are allowing owners to choose their puppies as they place deposits in this litter.
These babies are just so beautiful and chunky! Right now their eyes and ears are closed so they use their sense of smell to locate mama.
We’ll see those first slits of eyes open around day 14. That’s when I’ll take more individual pictures of them. And then at 3 weeks old, we’ll have our first video.
Each of you will be receiving a welcome email letter outlining just what to expect over the next 7 weeks along with important dates and picking instructions.
We do have picking spots available in this litter.
These puppies are a little smaller than our standards, although we have had a few larger ones in past litters. They mature between 45-55 lbs. The coloring is black and white with wavy non shedding coats.

FAQ:
What breedings to you have coming up? Please scroll back Up for current and upcoming litters (scroll down for more future litters) to the “Next Season’s Breeding Schedule” to see what will be bred and what picking spots are open.
To be placed on our generic list (for instance- red mini’s or cream petites) simply send me an email to info@LamgoFarms.com with your preferences, email address and name and I will put you on our master list. Once we have our line up for that preference- I will place your name on the list. Once breeding begins- we will request your deposit.
How do I know if you have any open picking spots in a particular litter? Scroll until you see your desired litter. Any available picking spots will be listed as “open.”
How do I reserve a picking spot? Please send me an email to Info@LamgoFarms.com outlining your preferences such as size, color, coat type (wavy vs curly), gender, and any special circumstances I need to be made aware of for your situation.
I’ll need your name, email address and phone number. Once you are ready, you can make your deposit payment by choosing the PUPPY DEPOSIT button below.

Are Deposits refundable? Unfortunately, due to the high demand of our puppies, we no longer refund deposits for any reason. If for some reason we do not have enough puppies born to provide for every owner- your deposit can be transferred to your next desired litter. The $250 is a picking spot reservation. This also helps us weed out those who are not serious about taking home one of our puppies.
Do you have any paperwork we need to complete? Since our puppies are Reserved almost a year in advance- we will spend that time getting to know each of you and will be offering the proper education to make sure you are fully prepared to bring home your puppy. When placing a deposit, please include your name, email address, mailing address, phone number and any preferences you may have. Once you place your deposit, I will email you your purchase contract which also serves as your receipt. You will need to sign and email this back to me. You will also receive a suggested supply list as well as our Health Warranty. The Health Warranty is not due back until 30 days after you take your puppy home.
Do you choose the puppy for us or can we choose our own puppy? *** COVID-19: All pickings will be conducted virtually at this time. You will be asked to visit the Farm at your puppy picking appointment and will be given an hour to choose your puppy. The choice is yours. Please understand that we cannot guarantee gender availability. When it comes to our donated therapy/service dogs, we will choose the top two for you and then you can make your choice out of those.
Can we visit Lamgo Farms for allergy testing or just to see the dogs? *** COVID-19: All pickings will be conducted virtually at this time. Every puppy owner that has placed a deposit is invited to the farm between weeks 5 and 6 for a puppy picking appointment. If unable to attend- we can send extra video and pictures or FaceTime the appointment. Unfortunately- we do not allow other visitors due to the health risk for our puppies and dogs as well as for the safety of our family. If you wish to have allergy testing- it’s best to find a doodle owner and see if you can tolerate that particular generation of doodle. We have several pictures, video as well as slide shows showing our grounds, parents and past puppies. You may also visit our Facebook page and join our open forum to communicate with any of our past owners about their experience with Lamgo Farms. We welcome your questions!
Do you do temperament testing? Yes, all puppies are tested at week 5 and the results are emailed prior to your puppy picking appointment.
Do you take weekly pictures of your puppies? Yes, The first week is simply a group photo but individual pictures are taken weekly starting at week 2. Video is taken weekly starting at week 3 and concludes at week 7.
Are your puppies socialized? Yes! We now have 8 children. Ages 25, 20, 19, 17, 12, 5, 4 and 2 yrs old. We homeschool and are able to hold, socialize using sensory stimulation as well as play with and cuddle your puppy several times a day which prepares them for any home environment.
When do the puppies come home? Puppies are ready to go home on the Saturday between weeks 7 and 8.
Do you have a Health Warranty? Yes, Lamgo Farms has a 1 year warranty over hips and eyes.
Do you Health Test your Breeding dogs? Some are OFA tested but not all. After consulting an Animal Orthopedic doctor- we learned that these tests do not offer the assurance that puppies will not have hip issues. A good line of breeding stock along with cross breeding and proper care of the puppy will protect and prevent hip issues.
Do you allow boarding after the release date of the puppy? Unfortunately, we are unable to keep your puppy past the pick up date. You will be notified within 24 hours after the birth as to your picking appointment time as well as puppy pick up date/time/information. This will allow you at least 7 weeks to make pick up arrangements. Pick up is on a Saturday a 10 am. We do sometimes offer a Friday pick up by appointment. Lamgo Farms is closed on Sundays and cannot do picking appointments or pick up appointments at that time.
Do you fly puppies out of state? At this time, we only fly pet cargo during the months of November through May. Our summer months are too hot to fly. Flying is an additional $550. We use both Flight Nannies (for dogs that stand no taller than 11 inches) and pet cargo flights. We can fly during the off season with Flight Nannies only.
What is included in the price of the puppy? An awesome Lamgo Farms PUPPY. . . complete puppy packet: First set of shots, Crate, potty training bells, nutritional supplement, toys, treats, scented blanket from littermates, training material, folder with health records, Vet check prior to going home, pedigree, etc, emailed photo collage of your puppy as well as a 10 lb bucket of premium puppy food that will last a few months.
What is your pricing? Sales Tax has now been added to the price. Sales tax is an additional 6.25%. ($131.00) For those who have already placed your deposits, tax is included in your purchase price.
All puppies are priced at $2100 plus sales tax which is $131.25 for a total of $2,231. The Deposit does go towards the balance.
Do you offer discounts: Yes, we offer a $150 discount for our Military owners. Verification of service is required. Once a year we also offer donation dogs for those medically requiring therapy or service dogs. Please email me your circumstance and we will pray and ask God for the answer. We have a medical form that needs to be completed by a doctor to qualify for service needs.
Do you have a Spay/Neuter clause? Yes. All of our puppies are sold with our contract stating all males must be neutered before 5 months old and females must be spayed before 6 months old. We no longer sell for breeding purposes. Breeding a Lamgo Farms’ puppy will result in a fine. We are pro-breeding and we support many other breeders, we just do not sell for that purpose especially for those who intend to breed for hobby of for just the experience of having a litter. Puppies not fixed by the requested time frames will void the Health Warranty.
What sets Lamgo Farms apart from other Goldendoodle breeders? First, having 17 years experience in breeding Goldendoodles- we have learned quite a bit about what to breed to create the perfect doodle for every coat type and personality desired as well as our dedication to each litter. Living on a farm and homeschooling allows us to constantly lay hands on the puppies and give them the ultimate care they need and you desire in a breeder. We care greatly for our puppies, mom and daddy dogs and owners and strive to give that personal touch to every one and puppy that comes our way. We also trust God to give us the perfect puppy you desire. We pray over every breeding and puppy and are genuinely blessed with the ability to raise these fluffy friends.
Pictures and Video: When we do have puppies. . .Pictures will be uploaded on our Facebook page. Video will be located on our Youtube channel at Happenings at lamgo Farms. Weekly pictures will start at week 2 and Video will start to be taken when puppies are three weeks old.
