September 3, 2020
Welcome back to another week at Lamgo Farms. I know you all have been patiently waiting for this update which is a few days behind. Thank you for hanging in there to see just what is happening with our family, farm and furry friends.

For those who have just joined a list, Welcome letters are on their way! I know a few emails didn’t make it through so I’ll be resending those tomorrow sometime. Thank you for your patience.
I had so much on my to do list today and unfortunately, most of it has rolled over onto tomorrow’s To Do list. Our sweet little Sara Bear turned two years old today!!! We enjoyed watching her open presents and then had to watch her disappointment when Ava told her she was getting a puppy and I had to inform her that mama did NOT get a puppy. Not sure where she got that, but no. . .mommy did not get her a puppy this year.

She does however get to play with quite a few of them before they go home. She recovered nicely after getting a castle from Grandma. So, all is well. After making a quick cake, wrapping presents, enjoying a visit with Sara’s birth mom on a Zoom call and then running to pick up balloons- well, I ran out of time to get all of my emails sent out.
Some of you will receive them tonight yet as I will be emailing like a mad woman until I suddenly fall asleep at the keyboard. I’ve learned that I get a little funny and make mistakes late at night so I’ll try to do more tomorrow.
For those who have completed a contact form- scroll on down to see if your name is on your preferred litter. If not, it means I am still needing to get back to you. If your preference is one of our already full lists, I’ll get back to you with some alternative suggestions to see if any of those work for you.
Right now we do have a few spots still open but they may be filled once I get through contact forms. I go through them in the order they come in- so first come first serve.

It truly is a wonderful blessing from God to have so many amazing owners inquiring about getting a puppy from us. We give all glory to God. He has allowed these beautiful dogs to have so many babies this season and we are so very excited for all of those who are able to get a puppy yet this year!
With so many puppies and this peculiar season in all of our lives, the inquiries for a puppy are in the hundreds weekly. I’m learning how to get caught up, but I know I am still behind in answering your messages. Hang in there! I’m running by Costco tomorrow and refilling the coffee pods. So I WILL get through messaging each of you.
Our three youngest have well check Doctor appointments first thing in the morning, so I will not be available until tomorrow late afternoon or evening. With my diabetes and Phil’s special lungs and health issues, the Pediatrician is bringing us early before other patients arrive and into a freshly sanitized building. I expect we will all get a little tired and maybe a lot cranky when we get home. . .so I am planning a napping time for all!

We do have litters coming up that I have not yet posted. I promise to get those up and begin lists next weekend. Our Ruby and Ethel are both expecting! It is going to be another full season but I am so excited for everyone who will be able to get a puppy for Christmas!
If you have tried to message me, leave a voicemail or email and have not heard back from me in a timely manner, I apologize. Please do reach out via text at 817-366-7995. Do not think you are bothering me. I appreciate the reminders. Now, before I fall asleep or before you fall asleep. . .let’s scroll down to see just what is happening in each of your litters. . .
Here is what we have now
and what is coming up soon.
Scroll down to the FAQ section to see how to place a deposit, pricing, how to reserve a puppy and to answer many questions.
2020 Breeding
Sanjay and Paddington Pocket/Petite Goldendoodles
Sanjay delivered 3 boys and 2 girls August 1st.

What’s Happening Now:
It’s been another exciting week for these babies. We are starting to see a few tooth buds appear and the puppies are now trying out mama’s food from time to time. They are still loving their gruel twice a day but still enjoy nursing and being with mama.
This week the puppies had another preventative deworming and our daughter Jessica has been teaching everyone how to “sit.”
The puppies are still socialized one on one along with sensory stimulation. Each of you should be receiving directions to the farm (unless flying) along with puppy picking instructions. Please check the times for picking as some of you may have moved up a spot.
What Happens Next:
This weekend we will conduct our temperament testing. Results will be available during week 6 the Wednesday prior to puppy picking.
During week 6 puppies will start their crate training journey. The puppies will be paired with a buddy or buddies in the crate to get use to it without the trauma of being moved alone. Once they get comfortable, they will be moved alone in their crate.
This litter is now all RESERVED.

Bella/Paddington
F2 English Mini/Medium
Bella delivered 8 boys and 4 girls on August 15. Mama and babies are all doing well and thriving.

What’s Happening Now:
The puppies are now almost 3 weeks old and eyes are now open! These babies are absolutely beautiful! Bella’s English Cremes are truly unique. Puppy pictures will now be uploaded in our photo gallery at photos.lamgofarms.com. The link is provided here under their pictures.
Puppies are still sleeping and nursing most of the day. We are almost to week three. I’ll be posting new video on Saturday on our YOUTUBE channel “Happenings at Lamgo Farms.” New pictures will also be uploaded this weekend. I usually upload pictures right away to our Facebook page prior to this update and the photo gallery. So if you’re waiting on the edge of your seat for new pictures- you can check there first.
They are now starting the potty training process by scooting off of their bed and onto their potty pad. They do not like to eliminate where they sleep, so this simply lets them know where to potty. As they grow the potty pad is moved further away from the bedding.
What Happens Next:
Week 3: Starting this week, video’s will be posted on our YouTube channel, “Happenings at Lamgo Farms.” A link will also be posted here each week. You can subscribe to our channel to be notified as soon as videos are posted.
We will begin giving the puppies their first food called gruel during week 3. This is a mixture of our premium puppy food, milk replacer, nutritional supplement, and warm water all blended to an oatmeal consistency. They love it! It will provide that extra nutrition they require as well as give Bella a break to keep her healthy.
Week 4: Emails will start to be sent out this week. Directions to Lamgo Farms and Puppy picking instructions.
Bella is the daughter of our famous Moyen poodle, Brie and our famous English Creme Retriever, Bison. Bison’s breeding line is from Denmark. He is truly from champions. Bella is an f1 Standard Goldendoodle which we mix with our famous Paddington Bear who is red. Puppies in this litter have mostly wavy coats with maybe one or two curly. Some of the puppies end up with more of a wire texture. Basically a beautiful flowing non shedding coat. All others are a typical doodle wavy cotton texture. These puppies are what we call a mini/medium in that some stay the mini size around 35 lbs while others get around 45 lbs. We can tell this by week 5 when we do our testing. Colors are cream, apricot and some light red or peanut butter coloring. Bella usually has 10-11 puppies in a litter.

These little teddy bears are still spending most of their time sleeping and nursing but that will all start to change over the next few weeks.
This week they will receive their first dose of preventative Deworming. This is given every two weeks until they go home.
What Happens Next:

As you can see, we normally have the same schedule each year. Our dogs typically breed every other cycle. However, sometimes cycles run early or late so this can alter our schedule. Occasionally we will do a back to back breeding and then rest our mama a little longer. It all depends on our mama’s, their health, and our schedule.
FAQ:
What breedings to you have coming up? Please scroll back Up for current and upcoming litters (scroll down for more future litters) to the “Next Season’s Breeding Schedule” to see what will be bred and what picking spots are open.
How do I know if you have any open picking spots in a particular litter? Scroll until you see your desired litter. Any available picking spots will be listed as “open.”
How do I reserve a picking spot? Complete the contact form located at the end of each litter. Then make your deposit payment by choosing the PUPPY DEPOSIT button under the litter in which you wish to reserve your picking spot. For litters not yet listed please Email me at goldendoodles@lamgofarms.com with “deposit” in the subject line. Note which litter and number on the picking spot you prefer that is listed as open. Include your name, mailing address, phone number and any preferences you may have for your puppy.
Are Deposits refundable? Unfortunately, due to the high demand of our puppies, we no longer refund deposits for any reason. If for some reason we do not have enough puppies born to provide for every owner- your deposit can be transferred to your next desired litter. The $250 is a picking spot reservation. This also helps us weed out those who are not serious about taking home one of our puppies.
Do you have any paperwork we need to complete? Since our puppies are Reserved almost a year in advance- we will spend that time getting to know each of you and will be offering the proper education to make sure you are fully prepared to bring home your puppy. When placing a deposit, please include your name, email address, mailing address, phone number and any preferences you may have. Once you place your deposit, I will email you your purchase contract which also serves as your receipt. You will need to sign and email this back to me. You will also receive a suggested supply list as well as our Health Warranty. The Health Warranty is not due back until 30 days after you take your puppy home.
Do you choose the puppy for us or can we choose our own puppy? *** COVID-19: All pickings will be conducted virtually at this time. You will be asked to visit the Farm at your puppy picking appointment and will be given an hour to choose your puppy. The choice is yours. Please understand that we cannot guarantee gender availability. When it comes to our donated therapy/service dogs, we will choose the top two for you and then you can make your choice out of those.
Can we visit Lamgo Farms for allergy testing or just to see the dogs? *** COVID-19: All pickings will be conducted virtually at this time.Every puppy owner that has placed a deposit is invited to the farm between weeks 5 and 6 for a puppy picking appointment. If unable to attend- we can send extra video and pictures or FaceTime the appointment. Unfortunately- we do not allow other visitors due to the health risk for our puppies and dogs as well as for the safety of our family. If you wish to have allergy testing- it’s best to find a doodle owner and see if you can tolerate that particular generation of doodle. We have several pictures, video as well as slide shows showing our grounds, parents and past puppies. You may also visit our Facebook page and join our open forum to communicate with any of our past owners about their experience with Lamgo Farms. We welcome your questions!
Do you do temperament testing? Yes, all puppies are tested at week 5 and the results are emailed prior to your puppy picking appointment.
Do you take weekly pictures of your puppies? Yes, The first week is simply a group photo but individual pictures are taken weekly starting at week 2. Video is taken weekly starting at week 3 and concludes at week 7.
Are your puppies socialized? Yes! We now have 8 children. Ages 23, 19, 17, 15, 12, 3, 2 and 16 months old. We homeschool and are able to hold, socialize using sensory stimulation as well as play with and cuddle your puppy several times a day which prepares them for any home environment.
When do the puppies come home? Puppies are ready to go home on the Saturday between weeks 7 and 8.
Do you have a Health Warranty? Yes, Lamgo Farms has a 1 year warranty over hips and eyes.
Do you Health Test your Breeding dogs? Some are OFA tested but not all. After consulting an Animal Orthopedic doctor- we learned that these tests do not offer the assurance that puppies will not have hip issues. A good line of breeding stock along with cross breeding and proper care of the puppy will protect and prevent hip issues.
Do you allow boarding after the release date of the puppy? Unfortunately, we are unable to keep your puppy past the pick up date. You will be notified within 24 hours after the birth as to your picking appointment time as well as puppy pick up date/time/information. This will allow you at least 7 weeks to make pick up arrangements. Pick up is on a Saturday a 10 am. We do sometimes offer a Friday pick up by appointment. Lamgo Farms is closed on Sundays and cannot do picking appointments or pick up appointments at that time.
Do you fly puppies out of state? At this time, we only fly pet cargo during the months of November through May. Our summer months are too hot to fly. Flying is an additional $450. We use both Flight Nannies (for dogs that stand no taller than 11 inches) and pet cargo flights. We can fly during the off season with Flight Nannies only.
What is included in the price of the puppy? An awesome Lamgo Farms PUPPY. . . complete puppy packet: Crate, potty training bells, nutritional supplement, toys, treats, scented blanket from littermates, training material, folder with health records, pedigree, etc, emailed photo collage of your puppy as well as a 10 lb bucket of premium puppy food that will last a few months.

We have a medical form that needs to be completed by a doctor to qualify for service needs.
Do you have a Spay/Neuter clause? Yes. All of our puppies are sold with our contract stating all males must be neutered before 5 months old and females must be spayed before 6 months old. We no longer sell for breeding purposes. Puppies not fixed by the requested time frames will void the Health Warranty.
